Why Should I Enroll My Child in Day Care?

Balancing having a career and being a parent can be a challenge at times, however, making sure your little one is being properly taken care of often weighs heavily on every parent's mind. Sending your child to day care may seem daunting at first, but when you choose one that values similar ideas to raising children as you do, it can feel much safer and more natural. At Anna's Day Care, we focus on creating an inclusive environment for each child in our child care center, promoting respectfulness and kindness while working towards different age milestones. Our child care activities are both educational and fun, allowing your child to enjoy attending on the days you need day care.

Day care classes have also helped children become accustomed to the importance of routine, even if they do not quite realize it yet. Having your child on a schedule that is conducive to your lifestyle allows for the mornings, evenings, weekends, and time outside of day care to be more productive.

Day care classes can also prepare your child for the first formative years of school. While day care classes are typically less structured and can be for shorter time periods, it is a great way to ease your child into being away from home. Children who do not experience a form of day care or daytime camp as younger children tend to struggle with the idea of preschool and kindergarten due to the lack of time away from their families. Day care classes allow your child to make friends outside of their immediate family, and work on important skills such as social interaction, sharing, and respect towards their peers and instructors.
